RESOLUTION

It is announced for general information that during the year 2011-2012, accumulations at the credit of subscribers to the General
Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 8% (Eight per cent) for the period from 1.4.2011 to 30.11.2011
and 8.6% (eight point six percent) with effect from 1.12.2011.  The funds concerned are:—
1. The General Provident Fund (Central Services).
2. The Contributory Provident Fund (India).
3. The All India Services Provident Fund.
4. The State Railway Provident Fund.
5. The General Provident Fund (Defence Services).
6. The Indian Ordnance Department Provident Fund.
7. The Indian Ordnance Factories Workmen’s Provident Fund.
8. The Indian Naval Dockyard Workmen’s Provident Fund.
9. The Defence Services Officers Provident Fund.
10. The Armed Forces Personnel Provident Fund.

12th Circle Conference Concluded with a grand success

12th Circle Conference of NAPE C Punjab Circle concluded today with a grand success. Discussion were held among the delegates and they put forward their problems faced by the employees of their division infront of Circle Secretary. New Executive Circle Body was also constituted unanimously with the consent of all members and delegates. Sh. Mohinder Singh. SPM Sangrur Katchery was elected as Circle President, Sh.Niranjan Singh Saini, APM SB Hoshiarpur HO as Circle Secretary and Sh.Charan Dass DPM Hoshiarpur HO was elected as Financial Secretary for the next term. 

             Sh.Mohinder Singh, Circle President presents Vote of Thanks to all the delegates and members for attending the conference. Sh.Mohinder Singh also thanks the Hoshiarpur Division for  holding the Circle Conference and making all the  arrangements. Sangrur was selected as venue for the Next Circle Conference.

Circle Conference of NAPE C Punjab Circle begins at Hoshiarpur on 18.03.2012

12th Circle Conference of NAPE C Punjab Circle begins at Hoshiarpur on 18.03.2012 with the welcome address of Sh.Niranjan Singh Saini Circle Secretary NAPE C Punjab Circle. Sh.Hari Singh Chandelkar was the chief guest on the occasion. Sh.Manjit Singh, Chariman, Postal & RMS Employee Coop Bank Ambala, Sh.B.D Lakhanpal Divn Secry NURMS, Sh.Ramesh Chander Asst Circle Secry NUPE P-IV and Sh.Sohan Singh Circle Secry NUGDS also graced the occassion.

                       Sh.Dharam Pal Singh, Dvn Secry NAPE C Jalandhar Division along with Sh.Chandan Kalra, Sh.Saurabh Mittal and Sh.Prem Chand attended the conference. Delegates from all divisions of Punjab Circle particpated in large number. Several Issues regarding shortage of staff, vaccant post of HSG/LSG in Punjab Circle, Pending MACP, Computerisation in the Dept were discussed during the conference.

Revised Recruitment Rules for HSG I :UPSC has approved revised recruitment rules for HSG I. after several rounds of discussions with our officers. The Department of Posts has fulfilled the requirements of the UPSC . Now the file may go to Law Ministry .After that our Department will issue gazette notification notifying the revised recruitment rules for HSG I . According to our information it may take 3 months time.

Adhoc arrangements for HSG I:Department approached DOPT for approval of adhoc arrangements for HSG I . Approval is expected with in a week formal orders will be issued within fortnight.

IPO EXAMINATION RESULTS: Some of the candidates have moved CAT and hence the results of the IPO Exam 2011 are delayed.

Cadre Restructuring committee for MMS::

: First meeting will be held in Hlyderabad on 12^thMarch 2012 to 13^th March 2012.under the chairperson of Smt Sandhya Rani PMG (BD) Hyderabad . Staff side has prepared for proposals for cadre Restructuring and the same will be submitted during the meeting.
