Minutes of Monthly Meeting Held on 26.11.2012
Monthly Meeting with SSPOs Jalandhar Division was held on 26.11.2012 in the chamber of SSPOs Jalandhar Division. From Admin side following members were present during meeting;
Sh.Bishan Singh, IPS, SSPOs Jalandhar Division
Sh.K.P.Meena, ASPO (HQ) Jalandhar Division
From staff side following members attended the meeting
Sh.Dharam Pal Singh, Divisional Secretary NAPE C
Sh.Chandan Kalra, P.A Jalandhar City HO
Sh.Narinder Pal, SPM G.B.Nawanshahr
Following items were discussed during the meeting:
Shortage of staff at Chogitti SO.
Periodical Review has been sent to R.O with the recommendation to increase the staff of P.A cadre and Postman staff.
Leave arrangement in Single/Double Handed SOs should be made preferably from HO/MDG/HSG-I offices.
Suggestion of the Union will be considered while making the leave arrangements
Provision of local road mileage allowance to System Mangers and M.Es
Allowance will be granted as per the rule.
Copy of D.G office letter no.17-1/2011-PAP dated 23.06.2011 regarding applicability of various kinds of travelling allowances in case of System Administrators, Marketing Executives, PRIs etc has been submitted by the union to SSPOs for implementation of orders.
Provision of basic amenities at Preet Nagar SO, Shakti Nagar SO, Sant Nagar SO and Bhagat Bazaar SO
SSPOs has ensured that matter will be looked seriously and solution will be took early.
Re-check of periodical review of Bhargav Camp SO and Bikrampura SO on the basis of which staff strength has been decreased.
SSPOs has ensured that it will be re-viewed shortly.

PLI CLIENTELE ELIGIBILITY EXTENDED
As a positive development and an appropriate strategy for publicity and securing business Department of Post has approved expension of the clientele eligible for PLI. Henceforth, the PLI can be extended to the following group:
- Employee engaged/appointed on contract basis by Central/State Goverment, where the contract is extendable.
- Employees of Joint Venture in which Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertaking/ Nationalised Banks have minimum holding of 10 percent.
- Members/employees of credit Cooperative Socities and other cooperative socities registered with Goverment under the Cooperative Socities Act and partly or fully funded from the Central /State Govt./RBI /SBI/ NABARD Nationalised Banks and other such institute notified by Government.
- Employees of Deemed Universities and Educational Institutes accredited by recognised bodies such as National Assessment and Accreditation Council, All India Council of Technical Education, Medical Council of India, etc.and or affiliated to Universities/ Boards etc.
- Employees of all Scheduled Commercial Banks.
