General Body Meeting of NAPE C Jalandhar Division held on 26.07.2015 with huge success..


General Body Meeting of National Association of Postal Employees Group C Jalandhar Division held on 26.07.2015 at Jalandhar City Head Post Office. Large no. of members attended the meeting. The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss the the problems being faced by the employees of the postal department regarding non working of UPS and Inverters due to faulty batteries, Computers and hardware are old and obsolete, dilapidated conditions of buildings of post offices. Members told that the conditions of buildings of post offices are in bad condition and during the raining season the problems of water leakage and in some post offices the rain water enters the premises which cause damage to the record and computer hardware. 

The meeting was addressed by Sh.Saurabh Mittal, Circle President Punjab Circle. He told that the problems of faulty UPS batteries have already been taken up with the administration at Divisional Level, Circle Level and even upto the Directorate Level. He also told that their demand regarding availability of Genset in each post offices is under progress at Directorate Level New Delhi and hope that Gensets will be supplies shortly after which the problems of UPS and Inverters will be sort out. 

Sh.Dharam Pal Singh Divisional Secretary of the Association assure the staff that their problems will be put forward to the administration. Members also discussed the problems relating to shortage of infrastructure, furniture and staff in the post offices. On this occasion a resolution regarding all problems discussed during the meeting have been passed and Sh.Dharam Pal Singh Divisional Secretary assures the members that the resolution regarding problems will be submitted to the administration for an early solution. 

Sh.Anudeep Sharma System Manager briefs the members regarding the upcoming Core Banking and Technologies in the Department. Sh. Balraj Kumar, Circle Secretary National Union Postman Staff was the special invitee during the meeting. 

On this occasion Chandan Kalra, Gurvinder Pal Singh Kundi, Prem Chand, Joga Singh Malhi, Ravikant, Amandeep Singh, Yash Pal, Raj Pal, Neelam Bajaj, Madhu Bala, Kailash Rani, Kamla Devi, Meena Kumari, Varun, Bharat, Ishaan, Maninder, Jaswinder, Manpreet were also present.

Exam pattern of India Post Exam :

Pattern of Exam Paper 1 : 

This exam will be 100 marks of papers are going to be there and it will completely aptitude test which will covers 4 aspects of paper each part will carry 25 marks along with candidates have time up to 2 several hours for finished paper. You will have no any kind of negative marks of question paper so when candidates will sure with regards to answer then surely offer answer of that questions.

Pattern of Exam Paper 2 :

2nd Paper will be based only computer and sure typing test will probably be conduct as well as time will probably be given for the test only 30 minutes in that 30 minutes typing test will done in quarter-hour along with 15 minutes will probably be given for data admittance.

Candidates need to type passage with 450 words and in Hindi 375 words and finish it with minimum 30 words per minute or 25 words per minute.

NAPE C FORMED AT PATIALA DIVISION FIRST TIME...

National Assoiciation of Postal Employees Group C has been formed at Patiala Division first time ever today at Patiala under the presidentship of Saurabh Mittal Circle President and Baljinder Singh Circle Secretary Punjab Circle. The problems regarding postal employees were discussed during the meeting. Sh.Dharampal Singh Divisional Secry Jalandhar, Sh.Harish Sharma Dvn Secry Chandigarh and Sh.Davinder Singh Dvn Secry Bathinda Dvn also address the meeting. On this occasion new executive body of Union was elected unanimously in which Pargat Singh was elected as President, Parneet Singh was elected as Divisional Secretary and Amandeep Kaur was elected as Treasurer .

INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES APPLYING FOR CHSL EXAMINATION 2015 

      There has been some technical problem with SSC Website and candidates applying online have been encountering difficulty in submitting their applications. In order to rectify the problem the SSC Website WILL NOT BE available for today i.e. 7th July, 2015. The website will be available from 8th July, 2015 onwards. Inconvenience caused is regretted. 

      Keeping in view the convenience of candidates the Commission has extended the last date for receipt of applications to 17.7.2015 for Part-I and 20.7.2015 for Part-II.

            Cash handling allowance to the Sub Postmasters in single and double handed Post Offices responsible for handling/custody of cash is being paid with effect from 13.05.1989 at the rates given as below:-

2.         On recommendations of the Vth Pay Commission, these rates were doubled with effect from 01-08-1997. On recommendations of the VIth Pay Commission, these rates were again doubled with effect from 01-09-2008 and further increased @ 25% with effect from 01-01-2011 & with effect from 01-01-2014 as per recommendations of the VIth Pay commission on an increase of D.A @ 50% each time. Current rates with effect from 01-01-2014 are given as below:-
