Cabinet approves 7% hike in DA for central government employees

Cabinet on Monday approved a hike of 7 % in Dearness Allowance (D.A) for Central Govt.Employees. D.A will be now 72% from the current 65 % of basic pay.

The current hike will be effective w.e.f July 1 of this year.
