Central Working Committee meeting of National
Association of Postal Employees Group C Jalandhar Division was held at
Jalandhar City Head Post Office on 16-12-2012.
Various matters regarding problems faced by postal employees were
discussed during the meeting including shortage of staff, dilapidated condition
of post office buildings, computerisation, core banking in the department.
Sh.M.S.Walia (President) and Sh.Dharam Pal Singh (Divisional Secretary) assure
members that their problems will bring forward in the notice of administration
for solution. Large no. of employees participated in the meeting. Sh.Anudeep
Sharma, Sh.Saurabh Mittal and Sh.S.C.Puri also addressed the meeting.
Sh.Chandan Kalra, Sh.Gurvinder Pal Singh Kundi, Sh.Ravi Kant, Sh.Prem Chand, Sh.Naresh
Kumar and Sh.Yash Pal were also present during the meeting.
Major points on discussion held and will be brought by our association in the notice of Administration:
1. Leave arrangements in Single Handed Post Offices.
2. Duty of employees on Sundays/Holidays
3. Non working of UPS in many post offices.
4. Provision of basic amenities in post offices.
5. Detachment of quarters of dilapidated buildings of post offices.
